Galvanic Heaters

Immersion heating elements to heat technical baths

Types of covers

We produce galvanic heaters with different types of covers:

    • Quartz covers are chemically resistant to all baths except for hydrofluoric acid and fluoride acid as well as chromium plating baths. Quartz coat can be destroyed only mechanically, not thermally. Quartz glass is resistant to so called "thermal shock" (sudden changes in temperature).

    • Teflon covers are resistant to all types of baths. They are the only covers that withstand a chromium fluoride bath or a bath with a hydrofluoric acid.

    • Steel covers, made of stainless steels, may be suitable for acid and alkaline baths. The steel grade depends on the AISI type of bath 304, 321, 316L, 316Ti

    Types of the heating cartridge

The heating cartridge is supplied on a separate order basis in the following designs

    • 900W, 230V
    • 1800W, 230V
    • 2500W, 230V
    • 3500W, 230V

    How to order

When ordering electroplating heaters, the heater type should be specified.

Example:Electroplating heater of the GGS-2500W type. When ordering heater cartridges for electroplating heaters, include the following information: the type, power and supply voltage.

Example: The insertable heating element for the GGS electroplating heater 1800W, 220V.
